If you give your DC milk?

What kind of milk do you give them?

Trying to find the right one for my daughter and are in the process of a few dr appts too for her.

How old?
From 1-2 years old i gave her whole milk
From 2 on she got 2% or 1% or whatever we had in the house.
Now I only buy Almond milk so she gets that./

My daughter is 19 months old. She was on Gerber soothe formula and at 12 month switched her to whole milk. It wasn’t agreeing with her at all, even though her test results came back to no allergies to dairy. We then per our gastro tried soy, since soy she has had on and off again diaper rash, so we are not stopping soy and have no idea what to try next. The strange thing is, she does totally ok with yogurt, cheese, etc. But she likes milk in the morning and before bed. So I gotta figure this out.

ETA: I did buy lactaid and I gave that to her yesterday and she seemed ok, but she did have some very very soft BM, but I dont know if its the lactaid, or if its from the MMR shot she got Thursday night.

DS has a milk allergy, after being on alimentum formula he was on soy, and then a few months ago i switched him to almond milk.

From 12 months to 24 months she drank Whole Milk.

From 25 months on (she is now 3 yrs) she drinks either Over The Moon Fat Free Milk or another brand just like that.

DS is two and still drinks whole milk, has from 12 mths.

Both organic.

Started with whole milk at 15 months (had a severe milk protein and soy allergy). I switched him to 2% at 2. Helped with the constipation issues from the whole milk. He is now 4.5 and still drinks 2%. But he will drink 1% or fat free if that is all we have. But he is picky. Only drinks milk from BJ's, Target, and Stop and Shop.

DD is 15 months and drinks whole milk.

my DD's are 18mo. They drink Whole Organic milk.

Whole Milk, i dont drink skim or 1 or 2% so thats what she will always get

My little one refuses to drink it - but he'll eat anything and everything so I don't stress.

My picky eater 5 year old drinks 2%

I would stick with the lactaid for a few days and see if her tummy gets used to it. DD was on soy from 1-2 bc of a whey allergy and at 2 we tried switching to almond milk but not she won't drink much of either. Coconut milk would be another alternative just make sure she's getting plenty of calcium elsewhere since the ones I found didn't have much of that.

We are 3 days into LF and the rash is practically gone, but the wierd thing is she was tested before and came back negative for dairy and soy. Hopefully we will get some answers after our gastro appt.

I made my own almond milk for my DD (11 months). Starting to mix a little at a time in her formula. So far no allergic reaction however she doesn't love it. Going to make another batch this weekend and keep trying. If she still doesn't like it then I'll try store bought almond milk.
