Not too much in first few min. Owen/Cristina talking about not making a big deal about saying good bye but she tells him she has to go to the mall to get a European phone charger to set up the suspense if she was at the mall during the explosion. April tells Owen she's preggo and that's when they see the news report that there was an explosion at the mall. Jackson tells Bailey her research lab is being shut down due to financial stuff. That's really it. You didn't miss much in the beginning.
I thought it was a good episode and I'm so glad they didn't kill her off. The whole Ellis/Richard daughter thing is a bit of a stretch. I like the empty board seat storyline tho.

I'm so dense. I didn't even pick up on that Alex and Bailey are going to go head to head for the seat on the board. DUH.

Now Meredith is definitely not going to want to leave now that she has a new sister.

I didn't realize Shane was leaving the show too but I'm glad he did.

I didn't know there was going to be an episode on earlier so I missed that. Why did they kick the droopy resident out of the program? That chick is such a whiner.

The episode that was on at 8pm was just a repeat of last weeks episode. They fired Leah bc she was too slow and just wasn't where she should be for a 2nd yr. I think Richard said something like "what should take you 2 steps, you take 5"

I thought it was a perfect send-off for Cristina... no long, drawn-out, overly dramatic goodbyes... just a little dancin'. :) And wow, my mouth was hanging open when I realized who Dr. Pierce is!!

Very curious to see how the Board seat drama will play out, and also what Derek & Meredith are going to do! On one hand, how on earth can Derek say no to this opportunity, but on the other hand, how can he leave his family? Either way, one of them is going to end up resenting the other and that never ends well. :(

I loved it. Cristina told Meredith everything she needed to hear. I love that they left the door open for her to come back, especially after killing off so many good characters in the past. It wasn't a typical cliffhanger episode, like the plane crash, but I liked the ending they gave Cristina.

great episode!! first one in awhile where i was clinging on to something.

when leah put that guys eye back in...that was awesome.

i love that cristina came back to dance it out with meredith again.

interesting how meredith said that derrick still sees her as that intern who fell in love with him.

my drawn dropped when that new doctor said she was grey's daughter! i wonder if Richard even knew!

bailey deserves the seat over alex. i hope she gets it.
