How do you stay organized?
Between the kids' activities (school, sports, PT/Speech services, birthday parties - btw, my kids are only 2 and 4, this is crazy), DH's travel schedule, and my work commitments, I feel like a chicken with my head cut off.
How do you keep track of it all? I use my Google calendar for work, but it syncs to my Salesforce calendar and then I end up with all my personal appts in Salesforce which isn't great. I can't use a separate calendar though because then I can only view my main work calendar on my Iphone.

I am old school. I have a handwritten calendar that I keep in my pocketbook. Everything that needs to happen goes in that calendar.

Same. I have an old school monthly calendar. I need to see an overview of what's going on each day/week/weekend so I can make a game plan for myself.

Re: How do you stay organized?
I have a big monthly dry erase calendar. Different colors for each of 4 dc and dh and I. I love that I can glance at it and see the entire month and where everyone needs to be.

Re: How do you stay organized?
I saw one of those big calendar dry-erase boards at target once. I'd also try any of the staples, office max type stores or amazon.
I use a small monthly-daily planner, I think designed for school/college students. But it's dated and lined and has boxes for every day. Each week takes 2 pages side by side. And there is a monthly view too. I just put in everything in there and organize it with a pencil!- cause things shift and I sometimes have to change it.

Me too. I keep it right on the counter top and i look at that daily, at least 2 times a day. I used to carry one around with me when I worked too. I still prefer that to my iPhone. I like to see it all in writing.

I am in the city and bought it at State News. I would think they would have them at Staples or Office Depot though.

Shameless plug - I ordered an Erin Condren planner as someone mentioned on another thread and I am in love with it.
If you want one, use my referral link and both of us will get a $10 off coupon.

No exactly what you're asking but I use wunderlist, a free app. You can makes tons of different lists and then "cross out" when you complete a task which is extremely satisfying. I have lists like: Grocery To do To pay Online orders Books to read Movies to watch Costco Wish list (for big ticket items I want lol) Dd's list
And so on.

Re: How do you stay organized?
I use outlook at work for work appointments and google calendar for personal and the kid's stuff. I also have DH's google calendar on my google calendar. DH uses his google calendar for both work and personal. Everything is synced to my phone calendar.
If the kid stuff is during the work day, I block it off on my work calendar. If we have plans with friends or I want DH to participate in the daytime activity, I invite DH so he has it on his calendar.
I have a to do list on my work outlook that includes emails that I flag. Sometimes I email myself to do things so that I remember to add it to my to do checklist.
I could verbally tell DH or email him dates 10x but if it isn't physically on his calendar, he will never remember.

Re: How do you stay organized?
I have a cling dry erase board on the fridge. Not this one but similar. Each family member has their own color dry erase marker.
