2nd Birthday Recommendations Needed
Hello Our twins are turning 2 this August and we need ideas for a party venue. We don't want to throw a big party as funds are low and we only want to have immediate family. Total amount of people will be 15-20 with 2 kids (ages 7 & 9). We were thinking of having a bbq in our yard, but our dog is a little bit nutty and we risk the humidity. Please recommend a venue or idea. We want to make this a special day for our twins. Thank you

I would do outside. Is there an air conditioned room you can keep your dog in during the party? We are doing this for my DS 2nd birthday also in August. My dogs also go crazy with all the people so they'll be in our room with the A/C on during the party.

This. I was just at a party where they sent the dog to doggie daycare at petco. Don't break the bank for a party. We're having a dozen people at home and I know DD will be thrilled with decorations, cake, and all her grandparents there.

This. I would just bbq and it's summer people will expect it to be hot. Just turn up the ac in your house for guests to cool off.

we are doing ours at our house, Dog is going to a friends for the day and kitties will be quarentined in a bed room. We had his 1 yo party at the house too and it worked out well and wasn't overly expensive!

We always send our dog to petsmart to get groomed day of party. It cost around $30. We tell people he went to "THE SPA" LOL
If tight on budget have it in the yard.

I don't know where you live but dd bday is in summer so we did it at the park. There were two big gazebos with a pool and playground it's in Wantagh.
