baby doll, or another gift?
i want to get DD a gift from the new baby
DD will be 15 months at the time #2 arrives
I was thinking about getting her a baby doll that she can feed, dress, etc so that she can care for it when i am caring for the new baby. does anyone have any good doll recommendations? right now we have one that giggles and talks, but im hoping to find one that does that plus takes a bottle, has outfits etc.
im not set on getting her a babydoll...if anyone has any great gift ideas for around an 18 months old please let me know

My kids were not into baby dolls at that age.

DD has her baby doll and a stroller, she hugs it and pushes the stroller around
its adorable!

DD has been enjoying a baby doll since about that age...what about the itty bitty baby from American Girl? We have a fisher price one that my MIL found somewhere and its IMPOSSIBLE to find clothes for it and DD wants it to have clothes and shoes etc...so its been a bit frustrating...

My DD is 2.5 and I just had DS. 3 other people gave her baby dolls as big sister gifts. We gave her a giant activity bag with small toys, a big sister tee shirt, books, crafts, stickers, puzzles, and snacks for when she visited the hospital and to do with my mom and SIL when they watched her. We used a reusable Doc McStuffins Bag to put everything in (the kind Toys R Us sells near checkout). We told her it was from her baby brother. It was a big hit.

Aww! How sweet!
We do have & love the corelle doll mentioned above.
DD must be late, she just started to play with it at the age of 2!

At that age, DD's favorite baby doll was the M&D Jenna doll. It was the perfect size for her to carry around, but it only comes with one outfit and doesn't "do" anything. For accessories, she has the PB diaper bag with her name embroidered on it. It has diapers, wipes, a changing pad, etc. She loves that. She also loves the M&D feeding set.
