My DD had this, and now my DS is showing symptoms do I've recently cut all soy/dairy again.

I did it for a year w/ my DD and it def gets easier. I like coconut milk and chocolate almond milk. So Delicious brand makes dairy/soy free yogurt and ice cream too. There is a vegan/ soy free cheese called Daiya...I haven't tried it yet, but it currently in my fridge.

Some things that I eat:
Cheerios w/ coconut milk & banana
Oatmeal w/ banana
Lenders Bagels w/ Earths Balance dairy/soy free butter
Beefsteak Rye bread for sandwiches, cold cuts, PB& j or almond butter w/honey.
Homemade chicken soup or lentil soup. (Canned soups randomly have milk/soy ingredients so check labels).
Amy's brand diary free frozen burritos
Pasta w/marinara sauce & chickpeas
Basically any meat, but I change to Panko breadcrumbs for cutlets bc regular breadcrumbs have milk/cheese ingredients.
Fruits/veggies
Hummus
Salad (check labels on dressings)
Rice & beans

Snacks-Oreos, graham crackers, Tostitos w/salsa, Stella Dora biscotti, pretzel-all diary free.

It took me about a month the first time around to come up menu staples and figure out how to read labels. Chat Icon

Eta: I don't cut soybean oil or soy lecithin...only soybeans/soy protein. The oil/lecithin ingredient doesn't contain the soy protein, so most ppl w/ soy allergy can have these ingredients w/ no problems.

My DD outgrew the intolerance completely by 15 months.

Thanks for sharing!!! So here's the craZy part. I snacked on some cashews the other day and dd also broke out with a rash. Ds has a nut allergy so now it seems like I can't eat nuts too :(.

That stinks!! Luckily I've found that things like dairy soy & nuts are always listed on packages so that makes it a little easier to identify. Chat Icon

I always thought but allergies don't pass via bm so I wonder if the cashews went thru a milk wash or something

Daiya cheese is great, you'll love it! I use Earth Balance too- they red container is soy free.
