Any idea what is going on? opk related
I am not currently ttc but am working with my gyn to get a handle on my cycle. I restarted metformin in the beginning of December to regulate my cycle. I had af 12/20. On 12/29 I felt like I had could be o'ing and took a test on a whim. I got a blinking smiley around 2 pm. Around 8 pm I took another opk and it was solid. I took an opk from the other box (not the blinking to confirm) and it was positive. I should have gotten af early this week. She never came. Took a frer just in case amd it was negative, as expected. All week I have been feeling off. Just mainly hormonal and having hot flashes. I took an opk on fri and it flashed. Took a regular to confirm amd smiley. Same thing happened Saturday and Sunday. Still no solid on one test and negative on another. Any idea what the heck is going on?

For me 9 days seems early to O, but because you're cycle isn't regular it could be possible I guess if you have very short cycles. I would ask your Dr or just keep track and see what happens next month. You can't really judge when tiu O until you really know your cycle length.

Thanks for the reply. It is so strange. I finally just got af back for the first time in nov after having ds in January (I was bfing). My cycles before my pregnancy were 60+ days. Then I had a cycle 11/24, 12/20 and still nothing. Who knows. I feel like af is coming now. If she isn't here by monday, I will call my dr to up my metformin.

you might just have longer cycles initially. When I got my first cycle pp (I was also bf), my next AF was 53 days later. then 44, 35, 41, 28, 33, etc. It eventually settled down around 30-35 days.
