Re: Need a little bit of support...
I have no advice but wanted to give hugs. I'm going to have to go back to work in a few weeks and I'm already upset and I have a 2 hour commute. I need to find a new job ugh. It's def good that you found a better job.

It gets easier. I went to formula after going back to work (I couldn't pump often). It was all ok. Routines come & go.

Re: Need a little bit of support...
I went through the exact same thing with DS. I went back to work when he was 7 weeks old and I left him in daycare. I also couldn't afford to stay home. I also had just started teaching in a new district, wasn't tenured and was afraid of being replaced since the field is so competitive. I was also EBF. I made sure to pump frequently, drink mother's milk tea and plenty of fluids at work. It does get easier eventually. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to be resentful with DH. You want to try to make every minute at home with your baby harmonious. Enjoy your time with your baby and make the most of your days off. Remember that right now you are doing what is best for him and your family.

Re: Need a little bit of support...
it does get easier but its a major life adjustments that takes time. I could barely function when my girls were 6 weeks. kudos to you for pulling yourself together enough to get out there!
