Second time around?
When you wanted to get pregnant again did you go straight to the RE or did you try on your own??
How long would you try on your own?
I tried for a year the first time and then sought help. Not sure what to do this time...

Re: Second time around?
DH and I did not have any issues with DS so this is our first time needing the intervention of an RE. However, if it were to work and we then go on to have a third, I would DEFINITELY immediately go back to an RE.....
Unless you are young and not in any sort of rush to place your kids close in age, or beat your own age "clock".....I would not wait....

Re: Second time around?
I think that depends on your diagnosis if you have one, unexplained I might give it a few months, another diagnosis I might go straight.

Second time around?
not trying but only doing pull-n-pray to prevent. will prob try on our own for a bit since i ovulate regularly now (barely ever did when trying for DD). although i will probably see Dr. B for immune treatment while trying on our own just to prevent mc in the case that we do conceive on our own. i dont know how long we will give it on our own.

Re: Second time around?
We just aren't using protection and if no surprises by the time we want to try again, it's back to the RE for us.

This exactly. We were unexplained so it def could happen on its own. If it doesn't happen when we want to official try then I wouldn't waste any time. Right now we are just not preventing.

this is what we did once I got my period again after I had DD. I did see an RE to help me get pregnant with DD. after trying for 3 months on our own, we went back to the RE. currently TTC #2
