IUI fail, injectables?
My 2nd IUI failed  My beta was supposed to be tomorrow but I cancelled because my cramps are terrible so I know SHE is on her way! Plus I took a test yesterday and it was negative.
I want to change it up- thinking of asking for injectables and a double IUI. Can I have your thoughts on injectables? I read that they also help improve egg quality and since I have unexplained infertility, maybe it's the egg? My husband has been fine and produces great sperm each time.

IUI fail, injectables?
I did three clomid iui's with one follie each time. Two injectables with 3-4 follies (one became an early mc after bfp), and this third cycle I had EiGHT follies. In the 2ww.
If you have coverage, make the switch.

Do it!!! I am convinced that is why I got my BFP. Never did back to back IUIs but this last one I took the trigger AFTER my IUI. Convinced that was the winning combo!!! Good luck!! (I was on Gonal F for my IUI)

How many follies did you have for the first 2 IUIs? Were you on Clomid? Femara?

How many follies did you have for the first 2 IUIs? Were you on Clomid? Femara?
I was on clomid for both and got 3 follicles both times. Sperm count was 15 million then 12 million so that was great. I've never been pregnant before.

3 follies is pretty good. I'm assuming they were all mature? I ask b/c sometimes people count follies and not mature follies. If they aren't big enough, chances are it would never have an egg in it mature enough to be fertilized.
Oh, also, did you trigger? And how long after trigger was the IUI? All things I'd take into account to make sure your IUI is timed as perfectly as possible.
And also remember, in the grand scheme of things, 2 IUIs is not that much so I wouldn't worry too much yet.
Regardless, I like injectables b/c I think it gives a better, more controlled stim.

2 mature the 1st time, all 3 mature the 2nd. I was only on 50mg Clomid. I'm anxious just the get AF so I can talk to the dr about the injectables!
