Another introducing solids thread...
What? When? How much?
Please share your feeding schedule with me when you introduced solids (cereal, veggies/fruit)

Re: Another introducing solids thread...
DD is only 3 months but I'm interested too. I'll be asking her pediatrician but from reading on here, it seems people introduce solids anywhere from 4-6 mos. I know there are different factors but seems like a big range.

Re: Another introducing solids thread...
Dd1 4 months. Dd2 5 months only b/c the way dr appt fell
Started with about 1 tablespoon of cereal ( rice or oatmeal), and added formula. I never measure so I just pour some mix it pour more until it was pretty runny. Then fed to baby. Dd1 took to it right away. Dd2 I tried a few days she wasn't having it waited 2 weeks a she loved it. After a few days until she got used to it I added in fruits and veggies. I've been doing orange veggies just b/c they are in season. I make the food. And I do prunes, pears, apples, sweet potato acorn and butternut squash.
I started once a day. Now do 2 times a say with cereal and lunch ( just started lunch) a fruit or veggie no cereal. And about 1 oz of food or half container
