Pediatricians who will let you majorly delay vaccinations
Looking for a Suffolk County practice willing to let us delay ALL vaccinations until either 18 months or even 3 years old. Does anyone use a practice that they think would allow this? I'm not looking to start a vaccination debate on this thread Just exploring options. TIA!

try Smithhaven Pediatrics in Smithtown
I haven't delayed as long as you are asking about but I only got 1 shot at a time for DS and there are some he hasn't received at all yet (he is 2.5 yrs)
I was never given a problem by dr - he just lets me know at each visit which immunizations DS hasn't had yet and asks which, if any I want to give.

My sister does not have my niece vaccinated at all. She goes to Dr Gerberg in Huntington Village.

I'm not sure how east into Suffolk you are but Seaford Peds isn't too far from western Suffolk. They haven't given me any problems with delaying anything. The only one I didn't get was the MMR. I just had to sign a waiver saying that it was recommended but I was declining. They haven't busted my chops about it at all

DD's doctor, Dr. Tomei at Northshore Medical Group in Huntington is listed as a vaccine-friendly doctor on Dr. Sear's website. I would definitely give her a call. She's great!
