drinking less milk at 10 months?

My kids are ebf and eat solids, so when I'm at work, they drink 2 5 ounce bottles per day.
The past few days, they've struggled to fininsh the 5 oz. I didnt think they were supposed to drink any less milk than they already are. Any ideas? They nurse a ton when we are together.

DS is bottle fed but keeps dropping the amount he eats as he is starting to prefer food. We just upped him from 2 meals a day to 3. I think it's fine as long as they are still nursing "a ton" when you're together. As long as they are a healthy weight, I wouldn't worry.

I also read that Breastmilk changes with the baby so it might be that the milk is nutritious and you don't have to give the full 5. I am away from DS from 7am-7pm. He gets 4 4.5oz bottles. sometimes that last bottle comes home 1/2 empty (and i have to throw it out UGH). But DS eats 3 meals and has snacks (frut; yogurt). He nurses at home at night at least 2x; and sometimes 2x in the morning so he's getting enough milk
