Moms of 3 year olds..humor me
Especially if you have a girl.
She is literally insane
-Every little tag bothers her
-She can't/won't keep shoes on for more than a few min
She won't poop in public
-It's a crisis if she loses her pocket book or bracelet
-She had to do everything by herself but cries if your not helping her
-at bedtime she cries because she can't see her pretty toe nails
-she rips her clips out of hair then cries her hair is in her face
I know it's the age but geez this kid is driving me to drink!

Moms of 3 year olds..humor me
Lol! I might not make it till DD is 3! Yesterday we were in Payless and she wouldn't try any shoes on unless I took the tags off first. She obsesses over the tags on stuffed animals and makes us cut them all off.
She's been into the bracelets forever too. She started with links and now has a bunch of real ones from MIL she has to wear all the time.

My 28 month old will take her socks off and then immediately cry bc her feel are too cold...I think it's the age! She also insists on sleeping in her new pretty slippers, but then cries EVERYTIME one falls off her foot.

oooh yes! and a boy isn't much better!! DS will be 3 in 2 weeks (11/9) and he is the SAME way!!
one day he'll insist on doing something himself... the next day he whines because "I can't do it!! I need heeeellp!!!"
Its a crisis if he can't find the exact little car or truck that he just HAS to take with him wherever we're going
mostly its the "I DO IT!!" thing! Either I let him do it and it takes 10 times longer... or I do it myself and have to deal with the tantrum from him. Can't win either way :-/
I just try to handle it as best I can, drink extra wine and hope that it gets a little bit better at some point! LOL

Everything you wrote describes my 3 year old DD to a T!
I swear this age is just the craziest time.
I can't make heads or tails of it and I am ready for the looney bin!

My son is that way - although he didn't really get bad until 3 1/2.
The other night he was crying hysterically when his little brother got up the stairs more quickly for bath and beat him - even though he watched his brother climb the stairs and could've made the move to do so.
Then he lost it again after his brother got into the bath first - this was after I spent 10 minutes trying to force him into the bathtub...
He finally calmed down and I asked what happened and he was still slightly sobbing and answered I don't know...
I hear 4 is worse!

What is it with the tags? DD has me cut the tags off everything...blankets, clothes, dolls, if there is a tag on something she wants to play with/wear i need to cut it off...she even reminds me where we keep the scissors.

My DS has been this way recently and I realized - most of his shirts don't have tags on them - they have the iron on label so it really bothers him (they haven't built up the tolerance in that spot like we have).
