Did your hair change post-pregnancy?
Since having DD 10 months ago, my hair has become really dry. It used to be pretty silky, and now I practically need to use half a bottle of conditioner just to get a brush through it. It's awful! Did anyone else have a significant change?

Hair loss is normal, you are loosing all of the hair that you should have lost while pregnant, but didn't because you were pregnant.
I don't remember my hair being dry, but I dont remember much from the first year with the twins. lol I did notice a huge change once I got my period back at 14mpp (super oily, so I guess it was dry before) and another huge difference once I stopped pumping at 19m.
At 2 years pp my hair is back to normal

Re: Did your hair change post-pregnancy?
YES! my hair used to be amazing (if i do say so myself LOL). I wouldn't even have to style it for it to look good and always got compliments from people cutting my hair on how healthy my hair was. after giving birth, it sheds like crazy, feels dry and unhealthy, looks fizzy and broken, hairdressers no longer compliment my hair and i also use wayyyy more conditioner with wayyyy less results!!

Did your hair change post-pregnancy?
My hair was falling out like a shedding dog after ds. It also broke all underneath behind my ears.

Re: Did your hair change post-pregnancy?
Yes! It's totally disgusting now.
During my pregnancy my hair was the best it's ever been and now I have so much breakage up top it looks like I have bangs! And the rest of it is so dry and frizzled!

Re: Did your hair change post-pregnancy?
It was shit before, it was nicer during (the hormones cause you to hold on to hair that you would normally shed so it looked fuller and thicker) and it's back to being shit again. So no, no change.

Re: Did your hair change post-pregnancy?
Yes!! I've been noticing it more and more and lately I almost always hate my hair. It's way too dry and dull, and if I try to use extra conditioner it gets oily, heavy and greasy. I can't win and I used to LOVE my hair - it was one of my favorite things about myself.

This is exactly it. I used to have the shiniest hair, and now it's crap. Oy!

Re: Did your hair change post-pregnancy?
at 3m pp my hair started falling out real fast! I would have to empty my brush once a day. It got really thin. My dd is now 14m but from at least a few months ago I now have spots were my hair is short, like broken off. Its terrible.

Same! I never used conditioner until I had DS, now I need to use it daily if I want to get a brush through it

Re: Did your hair change post-pregnancy?
Yes! Also very dry! I started using dh's head and shoulders, and now also slather my hair with the head and shoulders conditioner. It has made my hair a little silkier.
