New mom gift
Did any one receive a gift for yourself when you had your dc? Aside from the shower gift I am getting my friend, I wanted to get something for her. After some time with infertility, she is now preggo with triplets. I was thinking of a charm bracelet with 3 charms representing each dc. Any other ideas? Tia

I never received a gift for myself. Anyone visiting always brought a gift for my DS. I think a charm bracelet is definitely a cute idea. I also sell Origami Owl. Which is similar to a charm bracelet, in that you create a locket with charms. Feel free to FM me with any ideas :)

the charm bracelet is a great idea.
my favorite gifts were:
gift certificate for mani/pedi or massage and offer to watch the kids while she goes.
i also loved when people would bring over meals - either to eat that night or to freeze. i only had one and i was pretty tired, the last thing i wanted to do was cook dinners.
eta - i love the idea of a mini photo session

I have triplets after infertility. That is very thoughtful of you to get her a gift. I received a charm bracelet with my boys' initials that I loved, and a pendant necklace with a nest with three tiny eggs in it that I REALLY loved :) also some folks gave us gift certificates for restaurants and the really brave ones volunteered to babysit! I also got a spa gift certificate that 15 months later I have yet to use - but I know it will be heavenly when I do!

I think its so nice of you to offer to get something, but if you really want to do something............HELP, HELP, HELp when those babies are born. I had twins & can't imagine triplets. She won't be wearing a bracelet for some time anyway. Make her a lasagna...these are best gifts.

I loved gift certificates for take out the best 
I also got a grocery store gift card, with a shopping list to fill out and the gifters offer to go get the groceries - that was super helpful with a nursing newborn!
