Greek school/church Daycare
Hello, I was wondering if anyone sends their children, or knows of any Greek church daycares in the area? My DS is is 2 1/2 years old and I am looking for a greek church daycare where they speak some Greek in the curriculum. I want the center to have an academic curriculum (as academic as it could get for a 2 1/2 year old,) and where they do many different developmental activities. Anyone familiar with any? thanks!

I answered in your other ppost, but Saint Paraskevi in Greenlawn has a daycare program in their church and they do speak Greek/English.

HOly Trinity CHurch is in Hicksville. I don't believe daycare but they were trying to get a mommy & me together. I married somoeone greek & have twin boys that are about to turn 2. How about finding a greek woman to babysit??

Thank you. I've thought about finding about a Greek women to babysit and help around the house.... But I figured it was more expensive and it would be more difficult to do so. How would I go about doing that? Word of mouth...asking churches?

Definitely word of mouth. Are you and your DH Greek? Maybe your parents or ILs know someone? My cousin has a sitter part time, she's a retired woman that is a friend of her mom's. Not sure how much they pay her, but I'm assuming much less than a daycare.
Definitely ask at your church also, maybe there's a bulletin board where you can post. Good luck!

Yes, we are both Greek. I've mentioned it to my mother, but she doesn't know anyone. I guess I will just have to spread the word, and ask around. Thank you!
