How much do your prescription prenatals cost (if not covered)?
My DH's insurance doesn't cover my prenatals. With my DS, I ended up getting a generic of Duet DHA, but it was still $40/month. I'm wondering if there are any prenatals (generic or not) that might be a little less money.

I am pretty sure that Shoprite offers a free 30 day supply of prenatal vits. Not sure how it works but maybe there are some other pharmacies that offer the same.

My pharmacy does this, but I do not live on LI so I am of no help.

They were $50 with DD three years ago. Now I take the CVS version of pre-natal One A Day with DHA. My ob said it was totally fine. They are $27.99 for a 2 month supply!

this was my situation, too. so weird, because everything else with my Rx plan is great $5.00 or less, but this was expensive.
i ended up getting a huge bottle at Costco for under $25.00 for 150 pills. my ob said it was absolutely fine to get something over the counter. you just need to make sure it has folic acid and iron in it, which all pre-natals probably do.

I've been taking the CVS Prenatal Multi+DHA One Pill Formula. They don't taste bad or make me sick at all. I have my first appt. in 3 weeks so not sure what a Rx would cost me yet.

I took Prefera OB with DHA while pregnant and they were $50 a month. Now I take Enfamil Expecta (since I'm breastfeeding) and just got them for 14.99 for a month's supply.
