Gift question...multiple moms help :)
How much do you give for a house party for a 3 year old's birthday? It's a family member...
Part II of the question is, do I need to take into account that we have twins and when they come to our parties they bring 2 gifts? Or do I assume you spend X dollars per kid and we don't have to always give back double? If my son and daughter each got $25 from these people, do I reciprocate with $50 or is $25 fine?
Does that make sense? TIA! :)

You give what you can afford. That's what we do. When my twins are invited to a party, whatever we give is from the both of them. I usually buy a toy (probably around $25) and and clothes or books. If it's for the kid of a good friend, it's usually a more expensive gift from the whole family.
