Flu shot for 12 mo old
Does anyone know if they can split this into smaller doses? I think I want to just get flu shots at 12 mo and wait on some others. I'm new at this shot stuff.

Flu shot for 12 mo old
My DS got the flu shot last year at 9 mons and it was given in 2 doses. The first and then another 30 days later.

Flu shot for 12 mo old
The flu shot is 2 doses at that age, the second dose is given a month after the first. If you don't want to many shots given at the same time you can break them up it just means more visits to the dr

I thought I remembered the flu shot only being split into 2 up to 12 months. I thought after a year old, it's given as one shot.

If your kid is getting their first flu shot it's 2 doses. It's not split into 2 doses. It's actually 2 of the same dose since the first time around it takes a little extra to get the immunity.
Get the flu shot. You're also better off not waiting on others.

dd had her 1st dose at her 9 month well visit, and the 2nd dose today - 6 weeks later. next year it's just one shot.
