What can I do when my 3 1/2 month old is screaming and sick.
We had my dd christening on Sunday. Well now me, my 3 year old and my 3 1/2 month old are sick.  I know my throat feels like razor blades so I can only imagine what my baby's feels like. She can barley breathe out her nose and was screaming at the top of her lungs . but I never heard a baby scream sooo hard and loud in excruciating pain. I gave her Tylenol an hour ago but it didnt help any. She just fell asleep in my Dh arms for now..just praying to make it through this night.. if she continues to scream like this all night what do I do over what can I do. This sucks!

When DS was sick for the first time I found that a warm bath helped to settle him a bit

What can I do when my 3 1/2 month old is screaming and sick.
Get the saline nose drops, see if you can prop her so she's not lying flat. 3rd week at daycare my 3m old had a cold and since they mostly breathe out their noses she would scream since she was so stuffed. Also a warm bath helped with the congestion. Good luck.

Thanks Everyone. .it was a horrible amd rough night for all of us. Me and my girls with this horrible cold..thank god my dh is taking care of us. and this soar throat.....ughh..I can't believe how bad my throat is. I havent felt this way since I was a kid.

I'm so sorry, I always get the WORST sore throats too, ever since I was a kid. IMO it's always the worst part of a sickness usually.
Is there any chance it could be strep throat?

Also try the nasal aspirator. You can get it on amazon, it hooks up to your vacuum and sucks everything out! we used that on my dd when she was sick and it took stuff out of there that would NEVER come out otherwise. It literally helped her breath.
Its by a company called Arianna.

Did you call your ped? At that young I would take the baby to the doctor.

and rule out strep, it can turn into something more dangerous
you can ask ped about using ibuprofen instead of Tylenol. it works better on inflammation and would help more with throat, and many recent studies show it to be as safe as Tylenol if not safer under certain circumstances.
