2 month old is sick and i am feelin SO bad

my ds will be 2 months tomorrow and is already sick! he has had a stuffy nose for awhile but nothing else. he got a cough yesterday. i took him to the doctor today and they said it is not in chest so it is all just in his nose. I really feel so bad- he is so little!!!! feeling like a bad mom!!! anyone elses dc get sick so young????

yup DD had a head cold at 3wks. It was awful. Saline drops, a bulb syringe, humidifier, sitting in a hot shower with DD, having DD sleep on an incline- I did it all. Those things made a huge difference. Hang in there- it's tough... you're a great mom! It'll get better. Hope LO is feeling better soon

I don't know if there is some kind of age requirement, but I use the vapor vicks plug in and it has always helped DD.

My ds got my dd sick when she was only a few weeks old. I used steam baths to break things up and an aspirator to clean her nose out. I just got one of the battery operated aspirators. I wish I had gotten it sooner. Makes life much easier.

Don't feel bad. It is going to happen. There is nothing you really can do to prevent it. DS had a cold at one month old. He was fine after a few days.
