If you stay at home
I am just curious if you have carseats in both your car and your DH's car? Particularly the convertible seat.

No. We only have one. We hardly ever use dh's car though. On the off chance that we do I just switch them

We have 2. One in my van and one in the house for hubby's car or for when I go out in a friends car... Better then lugging mine in and out of the minivan.

same but we take dh car places on the weekends or if we leave my brother/sil watching them we give them on of our cars.

We only have one car seat. My ds has a truck so we can't put in a car seat. But both sets of grandparents have a car seat. If he had a 4 door truck I would put the car seat in it.

Yes, we have in both. My MIL also has her own carseat, and a base for the baby's seat, since she watches them every Wednesday.

No, we had one base for the infant seat and now we have one convertible. DH switches them when needed and if I go out without DD I always leave the car with the seat.

We only have a car seat in my car, not DH's car. But, now with the new baby coming, we will probably be buying a new car seat for my car and putting the old car seat in DH's car. I am having a c-section so I am not going to be able to drive for a few weeks and DH is going to have to drive DS to school. It'll just be easier, but for over 3 year, we did with one car seat just fine.

For the longest time, no. Then we wound up with some extra seats and so he has them now, we almost never use them though. So if he took them out it wouldnt be a big deal. My car is hte family car we use 100% of the time (only use his on the weekend if say mine is in the shop)

I have 2 boys in 5 point harness boosters & carseats are only present in my truck. The boys never go in my.hubbys car. The only time carseats were in hubby car was infant seats & that was the base

When it was just my DS, we had a convertible seat in both cars. Now that we are a fam of 5, we can't all fit in DH's car together anyway, so he only has the 1 seat in his for when he takes DS places alone.

We have car seats in both cars, but almost never use the one in DH's car. I am planning on just taking the one out of his car when we have a second baby and just putting that in my car for the new baby. As long as it hasn't expired by then.

Yup- we have a britax boulevard in both cars. Way too much of a hassle to take them in and out, plus we do use dhs car at night or on the weekends for running around. And you never know what could might happen during the day. We just didn't want to worry about who has the car seat- this way we're covered.

Yes. Way too annoying to switch. We use DHs car on the weekends since it has a dvd player and is bigger for longer trips.

Dh stays home and we have 2. i drive the better car to work and her permanent seat is in my car. his car has a seat that is easier to remove for in-laws and such and he doesnt really drive around with her too much..
