Question about providing a car seat for in home daycare
I might be watching a baby this winter and would need a car seat , just in case of an emergency or picking up my DD from the bus stop in the snow/rain.
What's the protocol? Do I ask the parents to provide a car seat and expect them to fully expense it? Just wondering what others do. Thanks

If they drop off and pick up the baby they will likely leave the seat with you. You can just get a base that matches the seat they own.

They should provide it. I would have them just get a regular car seat so they don't have to buy an extra base, and then another car seat a few months later when the baby outgrows the infant seat.
