Where to go with 3 boys? Age 3,8, and 11
My best friend and I want to take the kids somewhere before school starts up again. They are 3, 8, and 11.... I think the game farm is out. Too young for the 11 year old... The 8 year old is ADHD and the 3 year old has sensory issues so nothing too loud or crazy... We are in southeast Nassau County and I will drive up to an hour in any direction... Preferably something out doors and not a lot of money.. Thanks

What about the aquarium? Some of it is indoors (my autistic daughter did not like that) but some of it is outdoors. I had a coupon which u can find in Newsday fun book or online.
Or you can do a day at the beach?

We are trying not to spend a ton of money... We did the aquarium a few years ago and neither of them liked it...
We are still looking for ideas.... We may hit a beach, but it will be crowded!!

I am thinking of going to the Holtsville Ecology Site & Park..I have never been there. How much is it to get in if your not a resident? That should keep them busy for a few hours!

I think they would have the most fun at Hershey.
I meant for the day! LOL
We have been to CI and they went to the Museum of Natural History. We did the Queens Zoo... I think we are going to try the Ecology Center

We ended up going to White Post Farms! The 11 year old kind of didn't like the idea at first but when we got there, he had a blast... We all had a great time. IT was a little hotter then we anticipated but it was still good. None of us have ever been there. I am already planning my next trip back!
