what age would you get boys 1st hair cut?
my son is 8 months old,at what age would you normaly get a boys 1st hair cut? just curious

DS is 3 mos. I gave him a trim 2 weeks ago! But, then again, he was born with a full head of hair. It was growing over his ears!!!

I got Jeremy's hair cut the day after his first birthday. Believe me when I say that he needed it for weeks (probably months  ) before that but I loved his curls!

i "trimmed" his hair at around 9 months. He had it professionally cut again at 10 months and we just got it done again yesterday at 1 year.
And Felice --- whoa curls---i love them!!! I can't believe how grown up he looks now

DS is 3 1/2 months old and is getting his head shaved today. It's a religious thing...
I'm going to miss his head of hair  I can't wait for it to grow back...

Neither of my boys needed haircuts before 13 or 14 months really but I see so many babies with tons more hair than any of mine had at that age so I plenty must do it sooner.

We plan on doing it around 1 year. He was born with a full head of hair.
DS would've needed it a lot sooner, but his hair began curling around 5 months.

Like FelandJohn we waited to just after a year.
My MIL grew up with the tradition in her religion that you do not cut the boys hair until 1. DS was pretty bald until 8 months or so. It was just getting unruly at age 1.

We cut DS hair at 4 months but prb should have trimed it by 2 months. DS was born with a full head of hair. He gets a haircut every month.

My DS is 9.5 months and he definitely needs to get his first hair cut. I am trying to wait until close to his first birthday. I am not sure if we will make it because he was born with a full head of hair and lately his hair is growing like crazy.

I think about this all of the time. Rylans hair looks so cute when it's wet and just brushed. As son as it dries it gets soooo curly and looks kinda sloppy.
