Great update!! I can't really answer your question, but I"d go based on what the dr says and then wait for your first sono. Did they tell you when to come in for one yet? Are you doing more betas?

They just called me now. I go back for sono next week (8/20) and there are no more beta's until then. This week is going to drag 
The good news is that the spotting has subsided a lot ... I'm not really getting anything on my liners anymore. Only when I wipe.

The reason she said ectopic is because if you had severe cramping on either side of your uterus it could be ectopic. She's not trying to scare you but just warn you to look out for it.
Your Beta is doubling which is always a good thing so try not to worry.

I had a bleeding episode at 6w with clots due to a hematoma. It stopped after an hr but I had no cramps. I hope it's just a hematoma.

Today's BETA - UPDATED
When I was pregnant with my first daughter, i had a large hematoma. I was gushing bright red blood and passing clots. I thought for sure I was having another miscarriage, but the baby was okay. I bled for a couple of weeks until it finally subsided. The rest of the hematoma absorbed back into my body. Praying for you!

That sucks that to are having such trouble but wonderful that your numbers are increasing. Has your doctor explained what it may be that is causing such intense bleeding? Could you have some cysts that are bursting from the increase in hormones? Good luck and lots of sticky dust

Today's BETA - UPDATED
Thanks, everyone. I haven't had a chance to speak with a dr yet, will see him Tuesday. I've only spoken with my nurse and she said there's not much we can do at this point since it's still too soon to see anything on a sono. She said to put my mind at ease I can go in for another beta test tomorrow AM. I told her honestly at this point it's not the numbers that scare me it's all the bleeding and the cramps. I'm really uncomfortable & scared. Trying to stay calm but easier said than done.

Has the bleeding stopped? I'm glad your beta has been increasing. Maybe its just a hematoma?
I have no experience with this, but I just wanted to wish you luck with your sono!!
