Today's BETA - UPDATED
So I had my beta today and the nurse called me back saying it was 25, which is low, but we will see if the number doubles by Saturday. She said my progesterone was low (6.3). Has anyone experienced the same? Outcomes?
Why wouldn't my PG tests come up positive? I took like 4 of the 10 mIU BabyHopes Pregnancy Test Strips and not even the faintest of faintest lines ever came up.
8/10 so they just called me to say my beta doubled to 68 and progesterone is 20. She again said its still a low number but we will wait and see what Monday brings. I'm still spotting. More than Thursday. She claims it's normal. I'm totally terrified.
8/12 I just got the call back and my beta is now 162  and progesterone is 27 I'm really happy with it but still concerned I am spotting - not as much as before but it's there (confused why it's even happening since progesterone is good). Should I be concerned that my beta still isn't a 'high number"? I know you guys say it doesn't matter as long as it's doubling but how come the big disparity? other girls are in the 100's by now.
8/15 So the day after my 3rd beta (8/13) I started experiencing really bad cramping. It was manageable but very hard to ignore. Later that day I started bleeding bright red and even passed a small clot - sorry TMI. I wanted to wait it out one more day to see if it would let up ... but it didn't. Y'day I called my RE and asked if I could come in for another beta bc I was convinced it was over but I wanted to know for sure so I could stop meds - so I went in this morning. I've been bleeding pretty heavy at this point and passing massive clots and this to me just seemed like a regular period. Well they just called me back and my beta is now 411 - the nurse said to continue taking my meds and lets just see what Tuesday's sono brings. She won't bring me in any sooner bc we won't see anything at this point. I kept insisting that this bleeding is pretty intense and this can't be normal - I'm not soaking through pads but I am changing them every 4 hours. She said as long as I don't have intense pain on either side then I am fine. I do have mild cramping but I would say its in my lower abdomen. Not on any specific side. What the hell is this?? Has anyone every experienced this? She said ectopic and now I am terrified.
ETA 8/19 My beta Saturday came back at 423 so I was told to stop all meds and follow up with dr on Tuesday. They still don't understand where the bleeding is coming from and said my lining was still really thick despite all the blood loss. I'll def be taking a break as this was really draining emotionally & physically. Thank you ladies for all your positive stories. I really appreciated them all.

My p4 dropped to 4 when I was pregnant. I was switched from supps to PIO and it went up.
Maybe your tests are defective.

Are you on progesterone?

My progesterone dropped I think to 6 at one point. They increased my PIO to 2 and used suppositories 2 syringes twice a day. It went way up after that.

Are you on progesterone?
Yes, I am. Doing PIO. 1 ML everday. They didn't say anything to me about increasing the dosage.

You were right. I came home and took a FRER and the dipstick. See pic below. Today I can actually see something really faint on the dipstick but it's pretty clear on the FRER
But now I'm spotting ... really similar to what it's like before AF.

I had the same thing last month and it turned out to be a chemical though my beta was a 6. I hope you have better results.when the beta is very low it willnt show up on a pregnancy test. Maybe with your last test baed on the picture your results will be better. Wish you lots of luck!

With my son (who is 4 now) my hcg was 25. It went up to 64 in two days and continued to grow. MY progesterone was 10 and my RE upped my medication to add suppositories as well as PIO. Fingers crossed for you! Hope you more than double. When do you go back?

Doesn't matter too much that it is low. It more than doubled!! You could have had a late implanter. As long as your numbers keep doubling you should be good!! Hoping Monday is even higher!!!
