Re: Moms of 2 or more
My boys are older. 4 and 2. Now it's easier bc when my older DS is in school and my 2 yr old naps I go on the treadmill. You can do walks too. My friend also has 9 month old twins and we walk a lot. She also joined stroller stride. My boys are in bed by 7:30 - 8ish so I can also workout later. I've been bas lately and need to get back into a routine. Tough now that my 4 yr old is home. Gotta wait till school starts again.

Re: Moms of 2 or more
The only thing I can do is walk with the stroller! I wish I could go to the gym but my youngest has INTENSE seperation anxiety so I can't leave her in the gym child care.

Five in the morning. It sucks, but if I don't go then I don't get to go.

Moms of 2 or more
Sad to say that I am just getting into a routine now. I have a 4 yo and a 17 mo. Now that it's not sweltering, I throw the kids in the stroller right after breakfast. I have a gym membership too so I try and squeeze that in. I figure when DD starts Pre-k in Sept I can go with DS right after we drop her off.

Re: Moms of 2 or more
Have alot of options and don't get stressed that it has to be a perfect workout..anything helps!
I also let go of the feeling that during naps I had to get things done and clean. It is ok if you use that time for yourself....things eventually get done.
I highly suggest some sort of exercise equipment at home. I just bought a spin bike and I use it at night after the kids go to bed if dh isn't home for me to run or during nap time for the older kids I put the baby in the jumperoo and he loves to watch me.
I run alot with the triple stroller. I also will be ready to go for a run right when dh gets home and will take one kid in the single stroller. I try to run alone once or twice a week if I can. (I let DH sleep in for an hour or so and then I go for a run when he gets up)
I went to the gym when I only had the twins but I stopped when I got pregnant and probably won't go back until the baby is 2 or so.
On days I don't work out I try to at least do an ab video before I sit down at night.
Good luck!

Re: Moms of 2 or more
I have 18 month old twins and JUST got to join the gym this weekend. I'm proud because I've been 3 nights this week. I never had the time before honestly or told myself that I needed to swiffer and do laundry etc from the moment they went to bed til the moment I crashed myself. I just decided that I HAD to do it and make the time. I am ready to walk out the door as soon as DH walks in the door from work. I only go for 30-60 minutes, because he gets in so late, but it's better than nothing. Unfortunately DH's schedule doesn't allow me to do much more than that and I don't know if it'll be consistent, but I'm going to try! I go for walks with the babies every day, but I didn't feel like it was cutting it for me. I feel good about the gym and hope to stick with it. The house hasn't suffered yet and I actually find that I have MORE energy when I get home at 9:30ish. I've ironed for 2 hours each night after the gym - and I HATE ironing LOL good luck!! try a free 7 day pass to a gym and see if it works for you before you make the investment :)

Re: Moms of 2 or more
My gym has chlldcare for up to 2 hours a day so there is no reason I can't go. I go at least 3 days a week. Sometimes 4 or 5.
