Halloween 2013
I know it's too early to think about Halloween but anyone already decided what they are dressing their kiddies up this year?
I am thinking Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates for DD1
And DD2 Minnie Mouse

I have a photo shoot scheduled so I have been thinking of it for a while. DS's name is Jake so I've been thinking of Jake from the Neverland Pirates but I also like the Captain America costume. Not sure what to do. I think I may just ask him though he's only 2 1/2 so he may say both or then change his mind LOL

Halloween 2013
I may just reuse her costume from last year since we didn't get to enjoy Halloween. She was a Ballerina Monkey and I think the costume still fits.

DD1 wants to be a skeleton (I swear- I have a gorgeous child and she always chooses to be somethign spooky or ugly- even when we get her face painted lol)
DD2 is still young enough to be under my control so I'm thinking Tinker Bell.
DC3 will only be a month or so old so I will probably just buy some sort of Halloween outfit

So cute! DD1 loves Sofia too - we already have the Sofia dress!
My issue with the Disney Junior costumes is that people who don't have young kids don't know the characters (with the obvious exception of Mickey and Minnie) - it is much easier to be something that everyone knows.
I want DD2 to go as Donald Trump - she is only 3 months, but she unfortunately has his exact hair style!
ETA - my coworker just walked in from lunch and was like "guess who I just saw - Ivanka Trump" - I think it is a sign!

Halloween 2013
It's funny - I've seen so many posts on FB about Halloween this week, costumes at BJs this past weekend and I got a catalog in the mail yesterday as well.
DS 2 is going to be a monkey - I bought the costume a few years back for DS 1 and he refused to wear it. DS 2 is a little youngers o I think he may oblige. Back up is Twist from the Fresh Beat Band (what DS 1 ended up being instead of the monkey and DS 2 reminds me of the baby Twist in the show when they flash back).
I have yet to ask DS 1 but, I hope he'll be game to wearing the fireman costume I bought last year but, didn't get to use due to Sandy and being sick when our halloween was rescheduled. I have a feeling if I ask him now he'll say Spiderman and will change his mind 10x before Halloween itself.

DD is going to be Minnie Mouse, too. I already got her costume, which is SO unlike me. I was shopping at Marshalls and found one Minnie costume hanging on the rack on clearance for $10. Fortunately it was DD's size so I scooped it up. She already has the ears, so I just need to get her shoes. I'm usually flying by the seat of my pants, so I'm so glad I found it!
She had an awesome costume last year--a handmade leopard cat costume that we borrowed from someone we know. Too bad she just wore it to go to 5 houses on our block. Darn Sandy!

Glad you guys think it is funny, because when I googled for a costume it came up in an article under worst costume ideas for kids! Thinking of putting her in a little suit and putting a sign on the stroller that says "You're Fired"
Here is her 2 month pic (so her hair is longer and poofier now!) but you can kind of see - she just has this weird side part!

Last year for DD's 1st halloween she was minnie mouse and DS was mickey mouse they looked adorable. I bought her costume at toysrus/babiesrus. This year no idea. DS maybe buzzlight year and DD tinkerbell.

I am at a loss this year. DS is 2. I was thinking maybe a minion from Despicable Me. I don't like the store bought costumes in his size so I may try to put together one for him.
