Re: To be team green or not to be? thats the question!
We are team green for a third time. I love the anticipation that comes with it. I also find there is more excitiement when you announce the baby is here when people don't know the sex.
It sure would be easier to know for me since I already have 2 boys, but this time around I won't decorate the nursery until the baby is here since I don't want a gender neutral nursery this time. I did that already :)
IMO one person can't find out and not tell the other. What would be the point of that.

NOT, I give credit to those who can wait but I would not be able to for various reasons
- I won't be able to bear the suspense! - don't care to get a bunch of yellow and green baby clothes - don't want to have to pick 2 sets of names - don't want to wait to decorate the nursery or decorate with some gender neutral theme
This is exactly how i feel! I dont want to have to worry bout decorating a nursery after nor buying clothes if the sex is different from first dc. I love to prepare n i get excited doin it n shoppin now
This was exactly how we felt. And as far as suprised- we were shocked to shit when the dr walked in with my amnio results and said- it's a baby girl! Shocked ! So we were suprised- just a little early!

I am pregnant with our second and I do not want to find out this time around. Last time we found out, and I ended up having a C-section. I really want the surprise this time since chances are, I am probably having a C-section again.
DH really wanted to know this time around but I told him that if I didn't find out then he couldn't. Other than wanting a surprise, I also really want a girl and I think I will get a little upset if we find out it is a boy before the baby is born.

This is my Team Green inspiration!
Team Green
we're still waiting for baby to start making its way out but so far this is always the reaction from all the medical people i've seen... as well as most strangers who ask me.
people either say 'ohh i wish i could be patient enough to not find out' or 'OMG i love when people dont find out. its so much more exciting.'
our whole family is super excited to find out if its a boy or girl.
chances are, once LO develops a personality and takes on interests and hobbies, etc. you'll re-work their room a bit anyway... and i didn't get a lot of yellow/green clothes at all.
as far as the names -- c'mon, we're women. we've been picking out baby names probably since we were 12 years old. its just extra fun
