Braverman....talk to me abt him

I love my current RE, but after 3 losses in 14 months, I am thinking abt switching. I have seen a lot of ladies talk
Abt dr dr Braverman. Can somebody let me know abt their experiences with him? how does the office work? Do you have to go to NYC or is everything done in Woodbury?

He got me my take home baby,...miracle worker in my eyes. I worked with him in the summer. We went to Manhattan for the transfer (I moved my own embryos to Gramercy from another clinic) The staff at the Gramercy was awesome! I needed an emergency appointment once and they squeezed me in. I love the man.I love Linda more than some of my own family. FM for any other questions. He also has another dr working with him now but I don't know about him.

I just started with him, and had my ER today. Everything is in Woodbury except ER and transfer.

I had a good experience with him. Everything except retrieval and transfers are done at his office.

ETA: I didn't enjoy the long waits, but in the end I decided he was worth it. Good luck.

This guy is amazing! It is a whole different experience working with him than other REs. I left one RE after a failed IVF and a few failed IUIs. He got me pregnant on the first cycle. I really love him and think his statistics are the best especially given that he takes many women who have gotten nowhere with other doctors. He also set me up with Dr. Kofinas who is an unbelievable perinatologist. The only downside to Braverman is the wait can be unpredictable but he spends so much time with you in person (or on the phone or by email) that I get why the wait can be long. He really goes the extra mile. I can say he is honestly one of the best doctors I have ever seen and I would say that even if I didn't get pregnant with a child.

Some people love him and others don't. You are going to hear mixed things about him but for me he is my miracle worker. I saw 3 other doctors before going to him. I was on this journey on and off for almost 8 years and he was the one who assisted in helping me get pregnant. I saw him in June of 2010 and I was pregnant in May of 2011 with my DS. I gave birth to my DS in December of 2011. In October of 2012 Dr. B ran some tests for me. I remember almost falling off the table when he did a sono on md and saw a heart beat, I was 6 weeks pregnant, a total surprise. I conceived my DD born in 11 weeks ago naturally.
I love Linda, Sandra, Kim the whole office. I love that it is small, I love that he is the only doctor and I love how on top of everything he is. Did I wait long in the office yes, sometimes I did but I didn't care. This was the man that was going to help me have a baby so waiting wasn't a problem for me. I had no problems going to the city for my transfer or retrieval. I trusted him and had faith in him. I was in a dark place, this journey was rough and I never thought I would get pregnant. He gave me hope, faith and I look into my son's eyes and I know that he is here because of Dr. B. I truly believe I have my daughter here too because of him.

he is my hero. i seriously feel like hes a member of my family. not only is he an outstanding and innovative doctor but he's honestly one of the nicest, most caring people i have ever met. he is fairly laid back and his bedside doesn't necessarily mesh with every personality, but for me he really raised the bar on the entire medical profession.
as far as wait time goes, this may be irrelevant because it was 3 years ago - but i waited at most 45mins and usually only about 20-30mins. i would always get the first appt in the morning since i had to go to work after, and they were decent at getting me in and out quick. i did my IVF at AFS in the city which dr. b doesn't really use anymore so that's irrelevant but ive hear that gramercy is pretty good (AFS was fine for me but had its own issues that are irrelevant to your post so i wont get into them lol). anyway when i was seeing dr. b i did what i could in NYC when he was there cause it was closer to work, but a majority of the monitoring was in woodbury, and of course the ER and ET were in the city.

i wanted to chime in here b/c ultimately i did not get pregnant with dr. braverman but i still think he's amazing and cares for his patients in a way that other doctors do not. we did 4 IUI's with him and we LOVED him. we only switched to another RE b/c we live in Westchester county and work in the city so going to Woodbury for IVF monitoring would've been incredibly hard. if his office is convenient for you, i 100% recommend him as well.
