WWYD- RSVP confirmation?
My DS was invited to a party and there was an email to rsvp to. I did so but never got any response. Not sure if a response is typical. Do people usually email back to let you know they got your rsvp? Should I just leave it be or email again? It's one of DS's classmates so we don't really know the family.

it depends on the person. I would email back saying..Ok great..see you there or something like that but not everyone does.

I have received an acknowledgement email back for every party I have ever RSVP'd for. I would send another email like, "See you at the party next week."

I had the same thing with one of DS's classmates. It was also hard to read her handwriting so wasn't sure if she got it and sent it again. Still nothing. WHen I got to the party the mom was acting like she knew he was coming saying she was glad to see us, etc. As if she wasn't surprised we were there.
Still thought it was odd I never got some kind of acknowledgement.
