DS did that from about 4 months to 4.5 months. So for a few weeks I had a back to belly roller and he would get really upset being on his belly. I think that's what motivated him to move from belly to back! As soon as he was able to flip himself from belly to back, he started sleeping on his belly and now loves being on his belly.
DD will flip when she is ready! Is she upset when she's on her belly or does she just not notice?

Sometimes she'lll get irritated, but for the most part she enjoys being there and loves sleeping on her belly. It gave me a heart attack when I found her like that, but he ped said it was fine.

Re: Rolling.
DS is did back to belly first... at like 3.5 months. Has only done belly to back 2 times (just around 4 months). He is 4.5 months. He seems to be avoiding back to belly rolling now cause he knows he will get stuck since he has not master rolling to his back yet!

Samesies, although DD has rolled from tummy to back a few times. Think it was an accident though. Her head weighed her down and caused her to roll over!

dd was going belly to back on occasion when she was 3-4 months. thenshe stopped. just before 5 months she started going back to belly and has now forgotten how to go belly to back and SCREAMS when she is on her stomach too long. I am hoping she remembers how to go belly to back soon!

My dd has completely given up on belly to back but she keeps trying to roll from back to belly and gets so frustrated when she can't.
