Freedom pharmacy prices
I have been getting scripts from Kraupners and been paying $80 or hcg, this time around Dr put script through freedom and they said insurance not covering meds. Do I call insurance about this? I'm clueless, waiting on call back from dr about calling it into Kraupners. Also they ordered Follistim this round and freedoms quoting $3,000 for follistim, hcg and progesterone capsules does that sound about right?

Re: Freedom pharmacy prices
I just contacted freedom and kraupners today actually. I am oop for all fertility meds so obviously need to shop around. Kraupners was MUCH cheaper when self paying. I mean Much cheper. One med i was quoted $250 at kraupners and almost 4 times that price at Freedom. Unbelievable!

Def wait for quotes from kraupners before you order from freedom. I couldn't believe the price difference.

I am oop and found kraupners to be much less on everything than freedom. I mean much less. May all depend on the meds you are taking but by filling at kraupners I am saving almost $1500. Its worth comparing shops for sure. I have both places running my insurance just to see if anything is covered but I doubt it.

hm, strange, i wonder if GHI changed what companies are covered? I conceived DS in Fall 2011 and back then I got my HCG (generic) and crinone from Freedom and just paid a copay. I think it was $25?

My prescription plan is cvs Caremark. Freedom is charging $1430 while Kraupners is $839 for the Follistim 900. So far the hcg, clomid and progesterone hasn't been covered but those aren't that costly but it's giving me anxiety about paying upwards of $800 +++ for meds. I know a lot of people pay much more I'm just frustrated.

I have Caremark for RX as well, the only thing I had to pay fully out of pocket for was the Clomid which I filled through CVS. But for generic HCG and crinone, i ordered through freedom and they charged it to GHI (health insurance plan) and it was partially covered... I am wondering now if everything changed.

$79 is the cash oop price for ovidrel at Kruppners. I've gotten it many times. It was $75 a few months ago and recently went up to $79.
