I am currently a patient of Trivax at RSNY. Although I'm not terribly unhappy I do feel that they, at times, are not always as thorough as they should be. After two failed IUIs I am considering getting a 2nd opinion at LI IVF. A good friend of mine recommended them and had success with Keningsburg. I certainly trust her advice, but has anyone else had any experience with this dr or LI IVF?? Thanks!

I use Dr Brenner there, and LOVE him

I had 3 failed IUI's and 1 MC with him.
I feel the nurses know what they are doing (i am spekaing about lake success) & are very helpful.

What i love the most about Dr Brenner was after our MC how we were treated and how pasionate he was-
You need anything answered he is always ther w a phone call or appointment.

any questions ask away

Re: LIIVF

I used Dr. Droesch at the Stony Brook office but had to be monitored on the weekends at Melville and all IUI's, and IVF procedures were done at Melville. I loved the nurses at the Stony Brook office and found the staff very supportive in general. The Melville office was not as warm and fuzzy.

Dr. Brenner did both of my ERs and had a great bedside manner. He called to check on me when I was having a bad reaction to the anesthesia. Dr. Kenningsberg (sp?) did my transfers and was not the warmest of guys but I have friends who love him and had success with him.

I am currently almost 36 weeks pregnant from a FET, and though it took me 16 months to achieve success with LI IVF, Dr. Droesch answered all of my and DH's questions, outlined our options, respected my input, was open to looking into autoimmune issues, and changed my protocol when necessary. You see the nurses more than the doctors but I found the nurses to be just as informative as the REs.

I am also a patient of Trivax and feel the same way. I like him a lot but its so busy there I feel they overlook a lot of things. I only did one IUI and it failed. Dd two IVFs for a frozen embryos- had to have surgery so froze embryos in case... Now were trying t get pregnant- not sure if I should stick with him or go for second opinion.. Let me know what you decide....

I am still currently a patient at RSNY under Trivax's supervision and just did our IUI yesterday. However, I have my consult with Kenigsburg today. I decided to go ahead with this cycle with RSNY because I couldn't get an appt to see Kenigsburg any earlier and I didn't want to waste the month. Hopefully this IUI works and I won't need to see this new Dr ever! Either way I'll post on here to give you feedback about my thoughts on LIIVF. :)

Dr Keningsburg was my dr when I was with liivf. He never gave up hope on me. My best friend was also a patient and was successful with her first ivf resulting in twins, who are turning 3 in July! Good Luck!

I just put up a different post about my experience there. I liked him and think he is definitely an expert at what he does. He diagnosed me with something that none of the other drs at RSNY ever even mentioned to me. It wasn't great news but at least I feel I'm in the right hands.
