And the roller coaster continues
So, I am now 5 weeks, 4 days. I had another beta today and it was in the 300s... which is another doubling time of about 5 days. Beta should be way higher by now.
The dr performed a sono. I was sure he would find nothing or ectopic. He found a gestational sac and a yolk sac and it's in the uterine cavity. He's not sure what's going on with my beta #s. My hormone #s are all great. The only other thing is he saw this odd space on the sono in the middle of my uterus next to the sac. He wasn't sure what it was but said it could cause a miscarriage, that's if the pregnancy is even viable.
So now I get to..... WAIT!! argghhh. I go back for another sono on thurs.
I always thought you couldn't see anything on sono until beta was >1000. Yet he saw exactly what he should see for 5w4d.

Yes I heard the same.. That beta needs to be over 1000 to have a sac and yolk. What in the world is going on? What does he think the void is? Hematoma?

Sorry you are going through what I call "beta hell" but the good thing is there is a yolk sac.
