Recommend your RE in Nassau

My girlfriend is going to begin her journey shortly after she tries naturally for a few cycles. She has endo and blockages. She will go straight to IVF. She lives in the Plainview old bethpage area. I know a lot of ladies don't like rsny mineola so I don't want to tell her there. I love stony brook, but that isn't logical

Thanks ladies

Re: Recommend your RE in Nassau

My sister went to Dr Palter and really liked him. She gave birth to my niece and nephew in December via IVF :). She had a couple failed IUI and her lining thinned.

Recommend your RE in Nassau

I go to RSofNY and don't have a problem! Everyone has to form their own opinions. I have a son from there and couldn't be more thankful!!

Re: Recommend your RE in Nassau

She needs to figure out which setting she is comfortable with. Many don't mind the quick, monitoring offices. Some have IF issues and need more individualized care, KWIM? You know my issues with mineola but I have a specialized situation with the endometriosis and my hormones out of wack. The nurses there were just not able to properly steer me because of this-- I needed more of a DR all the time controlling the show. So since I left last cycle and have come back, my Dr has actually seen me every appointment- even today, fully dressed for the OR, she still squeezed me in without me asking just to gather a sequence. She is a very good Dr- like brilliant but she is managing too many cases all at once so you always get that 'busy' sense in mineola. I am feeling her out more to see if I am def changing. I am still having my consult with Dr. Z and Dr. Palter to see if any of them are in line with endo and uterine scarring. Those two are very highly recommended by so many ladies and are smaller practices. See what she prefers first. I thought I preferred the larger practice but now that I am in it, I am over it. To each their own! Have her join us!!!

I agree with this advice, all offices will have a different feel. I was never a fan of the 'factory' feel and road out nearly 3 years of my journey with Dr.Braverman in Woodbury. Though he was not the one to get me where I am today, he has worked for MANY women out there and his office has a very personal one on one feel. I always was amazed when I came on here and saw how many other girls were patients of his because I often felt like I was his only one! Chat Icon He also was present for all the monitoring appts.

I live in Plainview & went to Dr Brenner at LI IVF in Melville. It was very convenient for me as far as distance and I really liked the staff. He is the reason I have my Chat Icon

Re: Recommend your RE in Nassau

I highly recommend Dr. Braverman. He's on Woodbury Rd. The only downside is that he doesn't participate in any insurance plans, so it's best if she has out of network coverage.

I have heard good things about Palter in Syoset and Zapantis in Jericho.. The one I went to I wouldn't recommend because it was very "baby factory" and I had to advocate for myself.
