Devastated
I am so angry and hurt right now. Short back story:
DD conceived via IVF in 2007
Chemical in 2008 natural BFP
This year we were ready to bite the bullet and TTC #2. In February I got a surprise natural BFP but it ended..early chemical.
Our second IVF was in March..we transferred two 5 day blasts and I got a positive HPT at 11 DPO. Beta came back at 10 and quickly declined. Another chemical. We had one frozen and being that it was my 2nd chemical in 2 months they ran a RPL
The RPL came back fine.
In April we did a unmedicated FET with our one frozen. It was a 4AA. I got a positive on HPT 12DPO. Beta at 9dp5dt was 15..low but they remained hopeful. The second beta more than quadrupled to 64 and the third beta tripled to 181.
That third beta of 181 was last Monday.
Last Sunday Mothers day I started spotting. Only light pink and brown and it lasted a few days then went away.
Spotting started again this Sunday and today was our first ultrasound. We were excited technically I should be 5w4d. I was feeling nauseous and had sore boobs.
The doctor sees what he thinks is a small sac. He says can go either way lets see what the blood results are. It could be late implantation.
Blood results came back today at 333...last Monday they were 181. The doubling time is 180 hours. No good. I can't believe I'm having yet another miscarriage. This one is hitting me harder than the others because I actually had hope. I don't know where to go from here.
Our DX is male factor but now I'm thinking something has to be wrong with me. I had the saline sono done and everything was fine. I'm with RMA now but thinking of switching to another RE since the wait times are crazy and I'm just not feeling that they look in depth.
ETA They want me to go back Thursday for another sono and more blood. I'm sick of it. My veins are sore, my asss is sore from the PIO..I don't even want to go back or bother.

Re: Devastated
That sounds so absolutely frustrating and I'm so sorry you are dealing with this.
At this point, I'd be going for a second opinion. Get all your records- including the RPL panel and have someone who specializes in multiple losses review it. It may not have tested for a COMPLETE range of things. (I doubt RMA tested for NK cells.. ) If Long Island is easiest, I'd see someone like Dr.Braverman who specializes in multiple losses, or Dr.Tortoriello at SIRM in the city.

Thanks Pennycat. Tortoriello was actually my RE with DD when he was back at Columbia. Do you know if they take insurance? Thanks.
