I just recently saw this mesquite flooring...gorgeous! and it doesn't seem too dark and the knots and pattern seems like it would hide dust

We have a medium stain (early American) on the first 2levels. No issues. We have dark pre finished bamboo upstairs and omg. I vacuume one room. Go back to the first one, and there are visible specs. Lol. If you can suffer often its not bad.

We have dark wood floor and I regret getting it. We have 2 dogs and 2 boys and I am constantly sweeping, up to 3 times a day when I'm home. I hate it so much when we redid the floors in the living room we went with a different floor. It doesn't match the rest of the house but at least I don't have to clean that room constantly.

found the pic on pinterest...but i was watching something on HGTV that showed them ...omg...it was GORGEOUS!
