I asked specific questions about their experience based on their application/resume... things they had ont here that I thought would apply when they were watching DD.
I also asked:
-are you ok with taking care of a sick child?
-what was a typical day like when you worked "x" job (using resume as a guide)
-Do you have experience with ___ (whatever was hot at the time for us, starting solids, tummy time, etc.)
-Do you anticipate your availability will change next semester (I work part-time and tend to hire students, so it's nice to know if we would need to change dates the next semester)
-What activities would you do with a __ year old
