Electronics...Time Length

How long do you let your LO play on the computer, itouch or any electronic?

I feel like it's ALL my 4 yr old wants to do. I have taken the itouch away from him about a month ago due to him whining so much and this past week just gave him permission to use the computer again. I usually only give him an hour a day (which sometimes turns into 2hrs). Just curious how others handle this?

Also, does your LO always ask to use it?

My son is 4.5 and has his own kindle. He plays in the morning when he wakes up and usually in the evening after dinner to wind down before bed. If he does play on it during the day, I make sure he is playing something educational (Super Why, Dora ABCs, etc.) instead of the usual Angry Birds. He's pretty good about putting it down if I tell him too. But, getting his 1.5 yr old sister to stop screaming because she wants to play on it...that's another story!
