Hi! I know I can't believe it!! My DS is now rolling over (he can roll from back to belly but not the other way around). His latest thing is waking up in the middle of the night on his belly though  then I have to go get him, then he wants to eat. But otherwise he is a super good baby! How's your DD doing?

My DD is doing OK. Right now she is obsessed with shrieking at the top of her lungs. When does this phase stop?!? DH is a musician so his hearing is important to him and he gets so upset when she screams so loudly in his ears! It does hurt. She also loves to sit up. She rolled from belly to back a few times, but hasn't since then and has never rolled from back to belly. She still eats at least 8 times a day. Usually takes about 2 hours in naps. Loves toys but gets bored and frustrated easily. Trying to think of new things to do with her. any suggestions?

I think my DS gets bored easily too! I'll stick him in his exersaucer and that will last him like 15 minutes until he starts whining to get out. I try to take him out when i can, shopping, etc. Mostly on weekends though since I work FT. I think he likes looking at new things/surroundings so it keeps him occupied for a bit. I can't wait till it gets warmer where I can start taking him out for walks!

tiny tot is such a ham!!! she rolls over like crazy. she can sit up for a short period of time. loves her homemade solids. talks a lot. loves our shih tzu to death. i ebf her and yesterday she needed to leave daycare early so they sent her home with 2oz. I gave it to her and was shocked to see the way she can hold it. she can sit at the kids table at daycare. sttn 8pm-630am
I can relate to the "they get bored easy" I rotate her from her jumperoo, playmat and exasaucer. When I have her in between my legs on the floor I also need to rotate her toys. For some strange reason she can stay in her bouncer in the kitchen without having a fit. She laughs when I tickle her  Loves bath time I'm going to feel so bad for her when she starts teething 
I LOVE THIS CHILD SO MUCH!!!

you nurse her 8 times a day? is she eating solids yet? how does she sleep at night?
I nurse her on demand on the weekends but I don't its 8.

I'm with you with the warm weather. It was nice when we got home yesterday so I was able to take her for a walk with our dog. She loved looking around at everything. The first few months the second she got fresh air she would fall asleep.lol

what is your feeding/solid schedule like? can you share?
she goes to bed around 6pm and wakes up usually around 530am. wakes up 1x (sometimes 2x) a night to shortly nurse. is this abnormal? i'd love more sleep...
she's a fatty!
also my baby is soooo quiet! any suggestions to get your baby babbling more? i do animal sounds and have her look in the mirror. we read books, sing songs... she doesn't seem interested in talking!!

I can't believe its been 6 months already! My DS is a super roller, is starting to sit up unassisted, love to shriek and "talk" out loud which we love, is finally holding up and enjoying his toys and yes of course he gets bored very easily. I'm still nursing so he's up 2x a night to eat. We just introduced to him to cereal which he's not crazy about but he eats it. I can't wait to start him on fruit starting next week! Otherwise, he's so alert of his surrounding and is just such a ham. He wasn't an easy baby but I love him to pieces more than anything in this world.

I think every baby is different, I wouldn't worry! My DS still wakes up around 1-2am (although, of course when my DH is actually home with me at night, thats when he STTN, figures!) I started my DS on oatmeal at 4 months, then a few weeks later started to give him 1 jar a day of stage 1... now I'm going to start to give him a half a jar of stage 2 twice a day, like maybe fruit in the morning and veggie in the evening. I am not quite sure what is right though, he doesn't go back to the ped until the end of the month.

Half a year flew! My DS rolls belly to back, almost back to belly but not yet. STTN 8-7am. Just started solids a week ago and loves it ( so far just not peas lol) will eat an entire jar sometimes and cereal also! He's a moose and weighs 20lbs 7oz. Loves to laugh and babble, only sits unassisted for a short time then teeters over lol. So fun to watch them grow and develop! Also can't wait for nice weather for walks, and summer too

I can't believe it's been 6 months. I want to freeze time! It makes me sad that DS is growing so fast. He is 5.5 months he will be 6 on 2/28. He is doing great! He is a calm and happy baby. He only cries when he is hungry or tired. I just started him on cereal and apples this week. He eats it but doesn't seem to love it yet. He doesn't sit up yet, but he rolls all over the place and wants to stand up when I hold him. This has truly been the best 6 months of my life. I feel like we will be posting about their 1st birthdays before we know it!

jdubs is right every baby is different.
here's what she's going to be eating at daycare
3tablespoons of oatmeal 2oz or applesauce
6.5oz bm
1 cube or sweet potato 1 cube of avocado
6.5oz bm
6.5oz bm
She's there from 8am-6pm
No real set time for her feedings. It all depends on when she naps.
She seems to be having her last bottle there close to 4pm so I'm not nursing her when she gets home anymore. but if its before 4pm then I will.
We have dinner at around 645pm-7pm
Sometimes I will give her 3 tablespoons of oatmeal or I will give her a cube of sweet potato and avocado.
Wish I had some tips on how to make her talk more

I agree...all babies are different! And I could be wrong but
I think it's harder to get a schedule with breastfeeding. I
find introducing solids to be very confusing! Everyone
seems to have their own way and I just want someone to tell me what to do! Lol
Here is our schedule (we just started solids)
8am 6oz bottle
9:30am 1-2tbsp cereal and 1/2 jar fruit
12pm 7oz bottle
4pm 7oz bottle
8pm 7oz bottle
He sleeps 8:30pm-730am
I will be adding a 2nd meal once he gets the hang of eating probably around 5:30-6pm
Eta: I just saw your DD goes to bed at 6pm. Maybe try pushing back her bedtime to get more sleep at night? DS is tired around 530-6pm so I put him down and wake him at 7pm. Then he goes down for the night at 830pm

that is good to know! i got pregnant with iui w/ DS and worry about if i have to go back again to the RE. You will manage it, everything will fall into place! happy and healthy 9 months to you!

We haven't been careful for a few months but no luck. I so don't want to go back to the RE.

Thank you ladies! I was worried about going back to the re too bc I was afraid I would end up with twins this time! I wasn't ovulating on my own before DS but wince getting my pp period my cycles were pretty regular. Last month though I didn't think I ovulated but I guess I did!
I just found out on Saturday. I think I'm about 4-5 weeks. DS is 6 months today!!
