Packing bottles
Stupid question: for those of you who ff and use powder formula, if you are going out for the whole day with dc, do you bring as many bottles you may need or do you just bring one or two and wash them out in a public sink (and just bring extra powder to make as many bottles as you'll need)?
Dd is 2 months old and eats every 3-4 hrs. which makes for a lot of packed bottles if I do one for each feeding. Yet, should I trust a public bathroom to wash te bottle?
ETA: only those of you who use reusable bottles. I know this ? doesnt apply to playtex disposable liners!

I would pack a bottle for every feeding & an extra. When you go home then wash all bottles. I'm sorry but I would never wash a baby's bottle in a public restroom. Rinse out yes but wash with soap no.

I agree as well. Even just going to my inlaws I bring one bottle per feeding. Just easier imo.

Packing bottles
I packed bottles for the feedings. A bottle of water and a formula dispenser with enough formula....I also always kept the single serve powder packs in the diaper bag for emergencies.

i must be the odd one out because i'd just bring one bottle and wash it (probably without soap though). i don't have room in the diaper bag for that many bottles.
that said, i've yet to be out for that long of a stretch where i've needed multiple bottles (when i go to my mom's house, i just wash them there).

I pack as many as i need plus one extra. I have a container of formula in the diaper bag and i use room temp bottled water so i just bring those with me

Packing bottles
When I went out for long periods of time, I would use the small ready to feed nursettes. I would then bring about three nipples and just pop them on at feeding time. A bit more expensive than making bottles, but sometimes the convenience is worth it!

Packing bottles
In the beginning I used the nursettes... Then i moved onto those "to go" packs... Now I usually just bring one bottle out all prepared and I have a small can of powder and a bottle of water in my bag in case I'm out longer. And yes, I will just rinse out the used bottle... It's not going to kill them

I pack as many bottles as I will need that day, usually around 2 or 3 & pack them in my insulated bag from bbb with an ice pack. I wash them when we get home.

I did this - for places like the inlaws i do have bottle wash and a bottle brush there if i end up not having enough clean ones.

Exactly....and I always bring one extra bc I have been known to be a spaz and knock it over before putting the nipple on  .....as for restroom I would rinse the bottles out to bring them home to wash I wouldn't actually wash them in that bathroom
