Penny's vs Sears vs BRU

Anyone have experience with photoshoots at these locations? Trying to find a place for DD's 2nd day shoot...Love your feedback!

I had a great experience at JCP in the Massapequa Mall.

My sister's friend works at JCP in Bay Shore too, she's in film something or other for school so I'm assuming she's pretty good.

I have been to jcp in sunrise mall and Roosevelt field and have had good experiences at both.

Suggestion no matter where you go, make your appointment for as early as possible so you don't have to wait as long especially if it's near a holiday ..

I didn't have a good experience at JCP in Bay Shore... it was for DS's 1st birthday. The photographer wanted him to sit on the dot and he wanted to crawl. She didn't really engage him and sat there while I tried to get him to sit. I left in tears. This was their earliest appointment too.

I hear great things about BRU from my friends.

I liked Sears and JC Pennys. Had bad experience at Target, we had to wait almost 2 hours for our appointment.

Honestly we've found a bunch of photographers who are starting out who offer you portrait sessions for a fraction of what I paid at sears and pennys. I only go to sears or pennys now when I know that i am only buying 1 pose for 1 child with the coupon that makes it cheap.
