When do you let your LO start using a pillow to sleep ?
And when do you flip the mattress to the softer side to sleep?

14 months fr the pillow- he kept balling up his blanket like a pillow so I felt like it was ok.. Our mattress is the same on both sides

I just gave my twins pillows at 15 months adjusted. Our mattresses are the same on both sides

We gave our son a pillow (toddler size) right around his 2nd birthday. He is now 3 and still uses the same pillow. Our 14 month old does not use a pillow yet. Their mattresses are the same on both sides.

The mattress is harder on one side than the other. I thought they were all like that. Thanks I thought that was around the age.

Pillow at 2.5. With both kids it was because they were initially sick and it helped prop them up. I just never took the pillow out.

I tried giving him a pillow at 12m after he would ball up his blanket under his head and he wasn't into it. He is 26 months and has just started properly using a pillow.

My DS went for his 18 month checkup last month... and pediatrician still says no pillows or blankets. So we just got him an XL sleep sack since he was outgrowing the large and he sleeps fine with no pillow.
