Questions for the GMO food experts...

Wow...I'm learning so much on here about Organic foods, GMOs, etc...so much that I never knew before! A big thank you to all the organic mamas who are sharing their wisdom! I never realized how little I knew until I starting reading the recent organic/GMO posts on here. Since I'm new to this, I'd like to know opinions on the brands Annie's Homegrown, Cascadian Farms, and Ella's Kitchen. My DD is a verrrry picky eater...she loves Cheerios, which I now realize aren't good for her...are the Cascadian Farms Purely Os a better/nonGMO alternative? Also, since my DD refuses to eat fresh veggies on a regular basis, I often resort to the Ella's Kitchen pouches of organic fruits and veggies...am I wrong in assuming they are healthy for her? I see a lot of snack ideas by Annie's, so I'd like opinions on that brand too. I realize that some of this stuff may still be considered "junk" food, but I'm really just curious if these brands are known to make foods without GMOs. Thanks so much for any feedback!

If a product is labeled "organic" then you can rest assured that at least 95% of the ingredients are non-gmo. so technically, a very small portion of the ingredients *could be gmo. However, many of the organic companies oppose GMOs and will not use them in their products. Many are labeled with the non gmo project verified seal. You can check products here

If you are still unsure, you could always call the company directly and ask. cascadian farms is an organic brand, but I know their parent company opposes gmo labeling laws. Annies should be fine.
