Pregnant with a toddler
How the heck do you do it!!! I mean I know you just gotta get through it but I can barely keep my eyes open and I am constantly nauseous. DH is working today so it is so hard to do anything. My house is trashed!!! Just a vent I guess.

Re: Pregnant with a toddler
You are not alone... my DS just turned 2 in December and I'm a SAHM. I am exhausted 24/7. If I could stay in bed all day, I would! We've been doing lots of coloring and puzzles and stuff while we're at home. That keeps him stationary and I don't have to be running around with him. I also try and get us both out of the house in the mornings.. I feel like that breaks up the day and he naps MUCH better after a morning of running errands or playdates. As far as cooking and cleaning goes... I've definitely been slacking on that and I'm not sure when that will ever get better. I'm *just* starting to feel like myself again at 16w and my OB just told me on Thursday that I shouldn't get used to it bc it won't last.

Re: Pregnant with a toddler
The beginning was tough...between throwing up and being so tired I felt bad for them. It got MUCH better in the second tri. Now at almost 33 weeks (yikes) its still not so bad. I have some night where I am so tired I feel like I barely have the energy to give them a bath.

Re: Pregnant with a toddler
its tough. dd is 2 1/2 going on 15 so she thinks she knows it all
I haven't slept in a few days so I am really grouchy.
Today we have gym, but after that, its tv time and resting time for me.
I tried to stop picking her up b/c it hurts and I am tired.

Re: Pregnant with a toddler
They need to have an emote-icon of a pregnant mom falling over on the couch in exhaustion! That's how I feel. Thank god my son has been good to me sleeping through the night so I go to bed when he does! I haven't seen my DH in a few days b/c I'm passed out by the time he gets home and awake when he leaves! Hang in there! When they're off to college together I'll rest then!

Re: Pregnant with a toddler
At the end of my pregnancy with #2- #1 took a few baths a day.
It was the only way I could keep a toddler happy and contained.
This time I have 2 to deal with. I'm only 8 weeks and already I'm EXHAUSTED!!

Can I just say, every time that this post gets bumped to the top I get a smirk on my face. The way the title reads, I think of a toddler in your belly!!! HAHA!!! Can you imagine!!!
