I hope you don't mind me crashing...but those of you who are doing/have done IVF
My sister lives in Florida and is about to start her first round of IVF.
While I had some IF issues my first time around she has been trying for her second DC for almost 20 months now and I am pregnant and due right around when she will be having our transfer, which I know has got to be hard on her.
Anyway, I want to do something nice for her.
Any ideas? My parents are going there at the end of the week so if it is some sort of basket/gift I can send it with them. Just clueless on what to do for her...if anything?

I hope you don't mind me crashing...but those of you who are doing/have done IVF
My sister had told me she was pregnant with her 4th when we were trying for our first and it was a bit heart breaking but I couldn't be more excited for her. I didnt think there was something she could have gave me that showed her love and support but one night she gave me a st Gerard pin and I thought that was pretty awesome.

I think anything that says you're thinking about her would be really appreciated. I know I'll have to be on bed rest for 2 days after my transfer, maybe you could send her some comfy PJ's, cute socks, slippers or a good book to help her to pass the time.

I agree with this idea!! I would have loved this kind of things around my transfers!! (or anytime) lol

Thanks everyone!! I think ill send her a package of goodies when I know when her retrieval and transfer will be.
