transitioning nap location
DS loves to nap in his swing. At daycare he has no problem napping in his crib but at home he will only nap in the swing - i have tried the crib at home and he screams and refuses to go to sleep (though he has no problem at night) He's almost at the weight limit so i need to transition him out of the swing but everything i have tried doesn't work! any suggestions?

We had a similar situation with DS when he was about 6 mos. He not only required a swing, but also a swaddle! I think I just went out a lot during that time during his nap time so the swing wasn't available, and I think we went as far as to just put the thing away. He had to get so tired until he basically passed out. It was a rough few days, but we made it! He now sleeps unswaddled in his crib no problem. Of course he still needs his paci and blankie, but that's a whole 'nother issue...

We let DS transition naturally. It happened around 6 months when he transitioned to two solid naps a day.
